Rescue Stories

Each and every one of the animals that comes into Happy Endings has a story to tell. Some have been abandoned, some neglected, some abused and others have been loved but circumstances have led them to being at our door.

We deal with all sorts of species and problems, and sadly when you get to the stage where you think you have seen it all, a defenceless animal turns up who has been let down by humans in another unimaginable way.

Here are some of the many stories of some very special cases. Please click on their pictures for more information.

Belle the blind puppy, abandoned in a park, alone, terrified and unable to see her way to safety.

Starved to near death, covered in sores and barely able to stand, read her miraculous story.

Left with horrific injuries after an accident, read Fancy's amazing recovery.

Destined to live his whole life alone in a stable, Pops had a second chance to live as a horse should.

16 weeks old and desperately ill and needing life-saving treatment, Alfie's fight was inspirational.

Dotty & Dice
